Looking for something unique, a boat that no one else has? Then look no further. After retiring from designing lifeboats the original owner was unable to acquire one of his own designed boats. He designed and had this boat meticulously built by The International Boat Training College in Lowestoft. In 1982 he was awarded the Design Council Award in recognition of his contribution to lifeboat design. During his career he pioneered work on fast motor craft, designing the Westcraft Watson range and offshore racers such as Big Moose and Iolair. Take a look at the pictures of this boat under... read more

The Bavaria 390 Lagoon has a reputation for being exceptionally spacious and a quality-built cruising yacht. This model was designed with a three-cabin vessel giving a fabulously huge aft-cabin. In good condition throughout, a lot of money has been spent on her, including a rebuild of the engine. She is a category 'A' offshore passage-maker that is equally at home inshore cruising. The teak decks are requiring some attention in the cockpit area. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. What an interesting opportunity this is. She was commissioned as a new build in 1996, to a De Spoot design specified by the owner. Unfortunately, the boat builder went out of business; however the owner retained title as he paid for all the work done on an ongoing basis and was able to move the boat to Scotland, where he set about completing the build. The hull and superstructure were complete at this point. There was damage to her during transit, and this was repaired. This design was chosen for the quality of build and in particular the Corten Steel, the boat being fully insulated. The ... read more

This is an outstanding example of a David Cheverton designed sailing yacht. The current owner has restored her with no expense spared. The extent of the refurbishment is second to none with the hull being fully stripped back, epoxy resined and sheathed in fibreglass. This work was carried out by a very well respected boat restorer with the inspection and survey of very well known Jonathan Jackson. The attention to detail and products used are of the highest regard and any viewing will show this on first glimpse. Viewing highly recommended for this yacht in sail away condition. Boatshed Lancashire are pleased to offer this popular Virgo Voyager with its unique junk rigged sail. Designed by Roy Lunney for Newbridge Boats, the Virgo Voyager is a strongly constructed small cruiser, with excellent accommodation. The high freeboard and cabin top needed to achieve this is disguised considerably by the styling. This is a nice tidy example that has been well maintained by the present owners who have used her predominantly in Scotland for the past 10 years. She comes out of the water every winter and the sail and running rigging are removed and cleaned ready for the follow... read more
